A few words about music with the late Sheikh Karzawi
I was forced to have a scholarly discussion about music with Sheikh Qarzawi and his followers. It is hoped that the lovers of scientific and topical discussion will read it with a cold heart. رحمة ويئ لنا مننا رشدا This hadith is narrated by Imam Bukhari and other muhaddiths, but Imam Bukhari narrated it on the authority of his Sheikh and he said: “Hisham bin Ammar said: Sadaqah bin Khalid…” etc. This hadith is a text on the prohibition of music and songs. But Ibn Hazm – may God have mercy on him – did not prohibit music (Ma’azaf), because according to him this hadith and all other hadiths about it are weak. He said in his book “Al-Mahli-Bal-Athar” (7:565, Tab’a Dar Al-Fikr) about this hadith: “I did not connect this link between Al-Bukhari and Sadaqah Ibn Khalid – there is no truth in this chapter, and everything in it.” So the matter is, if God had established all or one of me, it would be more than the path of trust to the Messenger of God – peace and blessings of God be upon him. That is, this tradition of Bukhari is disconnected because it is not connected between Bukhari and Sadaqah bin Khalid. And there is no authentic hadith about this, and all the hadiths related to it are the subject. I swear by Allah that if all or one of them had been narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, through reliable narrations, I would never have hesitated or hesitated to accept them). Dear readers: Pay attention to the report of Ibn Hazm – may God have mercy on him: He says that this document is disconnected between Bukhari and Sadaqah bin Khalid. But here I think that the lesson has been omitted, because Bukhari narrated this hadith not from Sadaqah, but from his Sheikh Hisham bin Ammar, and he narrated it again from Sadaqah. Therefore, it is not called suspended in Muttalah hadith, but suspended (and suspended is a hadith whose narrator has been dropped from the first of the documents) and although it is a suspension of Bukhari’s tradition, but in fact it is not suspended. , because Hisham is a famous sheikh. However, Wali Bukhari said here: Qal Hisham bin Ammar) and he did not say “Hadna – and Azharna – Hisham”. In other words, the Wali did not declare it on hearing. In response, the scholars mentioned various justifications that there is no place to write it here, and if anyone wants to read the explanation of his hadith, read it in Fath al-Bari and al-Bukhari’s other commentaries. Ibn Hazm – may God have mercy on him – mentioned other arguments of the opponents and answered them. Almost all those who considered his music to be permissible have relied on Ibn Hazm’s words and arguments. And the most important explanation is the rule of al-Abaha al-Asliyyah (Al-Asl fi al-Ashiya al-Abaha). In other words, the real state of the things is abaah, until the reason for their sanctity is proven. The whole story of the proponents of music, whether Imam Ghazali made it or Sheikh Qaradawi quoted it here, does not have a significant value as a Shariah argument, because it is all ijtihad and the basic rule says that there is no ijtihad against the text. (La ijtihad in comparison with the text). So, the main thing is to discuss whether this hadith is really weak and the protest cannot be stopped, as Ibn Hazm says, and whether it is not, he is correct: : Common Muhaddithists and critics say that Ibn Hazm has made a mistake here, and this Hadith is Sahih
