Substances or proteins have been found that change the second, third and fourth group blood into the first group.

It is a matter of fact that the first group blood is rarely found in the hospitals of big cities. A group of scientists from the University of Copenhagen, whose head is Henrik Clausen, has discovered a method that changes the second, third and fourth blood group into the first group.

The distribution of blood groups is based on the presence or absence of antigens (AB) in the blood cells.

(0) Group I blood – This blood is also called donor blood (donor blood), because this blood has more antigens in the red blood cells than the blood of the second, third and fourth (A, B and AB) groups. It does not produce immune cells in the blood, this is the reason why this blood is given to patients who have other groups. For decades, scientists have been searching for a method to separate and remove A and B antigens from red blood cells. So far, scientists have succeeded in changing the blood of the second group to the first group by means of special materials and proteins.

Claussen and his colleagues have studied the structures of some 2500 stars and bacteria to find an enzyme that separates these antigens from red blood cells. As a result, they succeeded in identifying two Bacteria have found enzymes in their structure that can destroy not only antigen A but antigen B as well. The above-mentioned method can be done in very simple and easy laboratory conditions.
