Keeping the view from the point of view of Islam
Sins are something that leaves a person like the autumn wind that leaves the leaves of the trees. One way to protect yourself from sin is to keep an eye. If you want to be like the good people, then find the qualities and attributes of the good people and keep yourself from the place of destruction. Whoever is on the path of error and sin and still hopes for success, then such a person is an ignorant person and is in the path of destruction. Such people always say that God is kind to us and will forgive us. However, they have gone on the wrong path and blame themselves, because Allah has mentioned hundreds of times to repent after committing a sin. If they think that God will forgive me, then there is no need for repentance. The truth is that a person is freed not only by regretting, but there is also a need to treat it, so if you do not protect yourself from evil thoughts, Allah Almighty will not protect you from many other sins.

Keeping the gaze down is a divine command
Allah Almighty said about this:
Say to the believers, “Take care of their eyes and guard their faces.”
Translation: [O Prophet (PBUH)!] Tell the believing men to keep their eyes under control and protect their private parts. This is a very clean procedure for them. Indeed, Allah knows what they do.
