Ibn Hajar says in Fath al-Bari: “If I said: Ibn Hazm said: This hadeeth is disconnected between Al-Bukhari and Sadaqah Ibn Khalid, and the disconnected does not constitute a Hajj.” I said: I believe Ibn Hazm in this, but al-Bukhari said: Hisham bin Ammar said: Hadithna Sadaqah, and he did not say: Sadaqah Ibn Khalid said. The second is that: The Messenger of God did not blame Abu Bakr and did not tell him that this action was not bad, rather he told him that it was Eid al-Fitr. That is, this is an exceptional situation and not the real one. That is, if it was Dakhtar’s version, then he would not have allowed this work, and he would have remained in his original order.
