Philosophical conundrum between human agency and divine knowledge
During my Kankur studies, I kept a paradoxical mind occupied with me and it was the problem of coercion and discretion, after which I came across Bahauddin Majroh’s Dialectic work of coercion and discretion. The book is one of the rare books on this subject in Pashto, and it can be called the point of greatness in the analysis of this subject.

The nature of the book requires its own article, so we will only comment on it here, but I must say that this book has a very broad perspective on the subject.

Although Majroh’s book investigates the same subject as a scientific article and avoids any kind of philosophic advice, on this basis, instead of solving my questions about the subject, this book has other roots. He made it easy, deep, and precise, or in other words, in search of an answer, I understood my questions correctly.

However, I have not given up on this topic either. Yesterday, I read an article on a related topic in an English book without stopping.

I found new interesting and suggestive material, I was also happy and through this happiness I tried to write something about this topic – even if it was very little and compared to the weight of the topic, and at least I tried to write about the topic. Let me give you my opinion.

From a long time ago in religious philosophies, especially in those religions that believe in an all-knowing God (such as Abrahamic religions), a striking and controversial question is:

If man is independent and free (in order to be under the test, he must be independent and make his own choice between sin and reward and good and bad in order to make the test objective) and God is also omniscient, then this How to solve riddles and paradoxes:

For example, I am either going to the market or reading a book today.

In these two choices, I am free to do whatever I want, but the problem here is that God knows before me whether I will go to the market or whether I will read a book because He is omniscient and knows the future.

So, doesn’t God’s foreknowledge affect my discretion, i.e. I am not forced to choose and do what God already knows and knows about. That is, his knowledge is the manifestation of his will. The fact that he knows it means that he has willed and his will as a superior and transcendent will aligns my will with his will.

Apparently, although I am choosing one of two options and pretending to be my own choice, the choice that I made must have been my choice because God knew that I was making that choice.

For example, if God knows that I will go to the market, then I can never read a book, because then God’s foreknowledge will be proved wrong.

Therefore, I must choose something that God does not know beforehand.
