In this type of malnutrition, the child has an appetite, but the nutritious food that the body desperately needs is lacking. It should be noted that children suffer from both stunting and wasting when they are malnourished.

Quasherkor
As we mentioned protein in macronutrients above, kwashiorkor type of malnutrition is caused by protein deficiency, in this case the appetite is low, the child is lethargic, his legs are swollen, he has vomiting or diarrhea, these patients need bed and After the treatment, special care is needed, in addition to controlling malnutrition, the body can also be strengthened in an immune way and protected from diseases.
