Psychological tendencies in poetry
Sajid Bahar

Poetry and psychology are two different phenomena, poetry is a part of literature and psychology is a separate science today.

Literature in general and poetry in particular is a magnet, the influence of literature on life, embracing many sciences, before psychology was not recognized as a separate science, many debates and issues in it. Had preserved in the literature.

There are two major schools of poetry in the Army, one in Dabistan Delhi and the other in Dabistan School.
In the Delhi school, the focus is on the interior and the exterior in the writing. Man is also famous for his expression of inner qualities, which is why Mirtaqi Mir, Mirza Ghalib, Momin, Zauq and others have ruled over tastes for hundreds of years and have maintained their permanence.

Psychological tendencies have taken root in the poetry of any language to the extent that it can be considered as the soul and the main source of poetry.

You may have experienced this when we start writing poetry when we either feel extremely sad, or face some sudden sadness, pain, etc., and some say the opposite, that poetry when happy. Take refuge.

If we look at the above, sadness, pain, sorrow, happiness, it reveals the inner qualities of man, which can be called psychological tendencies, if we look at the pain, emotion, excitement, despair, hopelessness and In other words, I think that the field of poetry will be limited and dull, so on this basis it can be said that poetry has the status of a tip and a thread with psychological tendencies, both complementing each other and different from each other. Even without the incomplete.

“Art critics consider poetry to be closer to dreams. They think that ordinary logic, precise observations of time and space, and alternate ways of thinking do not fit into dreams and poetry.” That would not be true, as well as we take every imaginative idea in poetry as seriously as any scientific case we want to prove. Here is an example of Ustad Ghazanfar, who recalls the dreams of Darwish poetry. Ustad writes: In dreams we often do not sit in a room, or at the door, or, for example, walk down the street. In poetry too many times either someone comes or someone goes, the atmosphere is usually open space, i.e. the sky appears.

Here the word dream is also added to the poem, dream again plays a separate role in the formation of the symbol, before we talk about the symbol, let me dwell on two other points.

We have the term Indian style in poetry. An important part of this style, among its other aspects, is the expression of the psychology of love. Read.
The following two verses of Hamza Baba are the best examples:

Thieves cannot be mistaken for love
Someone who doesn’t look at anyone at the party

Hamza Jor was the look of an acquaintance at the party
Bega who kept an eye on the rival all night

If we look at the above verses, we will find a secret and pleasant connection, both of which are called expressions of the psychology of love.

Apart from this, another part of psychology in poetry is persecution. Persecution is an important feature of the Bhagwan movement in Indian poetry. It arises from self-persecution and turns into persecution. It is a sexual instinct.

Here the poet usually inflicts violence on himself and this violence goes so far that the poet feels a hidden pleasure in it, like being intoxicated with it and manifesting himself in various forms in spirits, for example. The following verses by the great poets Ahmad Faraz and Mumtaz Orakzai are excellent examples:

Let the resentment come to show the right heart
Come and leave me again
Deprived of the pleasures of a lifetime
O comfort, come to make me cry
Faraz
3
I may even experience this torment myself
You are by my side and I wish you well
Excellent
Now let’s talk a little bit about the symbol.
As I said before, poetry is something close to a dream, meaning the symbols of poetry
Often similar to dream symbols.

“Sleep is an involuntary collection of a number of symbolic signs, objects, or persons stored in the human subconscious. Poetry is a systematic conception of the same subconscious, which is deliberately shaped.” )

The emergence of these concepts is also somewhat semi-intentional, but with the help of words, messages, linguistic puzzles and aesthetic techniques, poetry is created. Symbols are constructive elements in this regard. .

From the discussion, it can be said that symbols have a psychological source, it is our psychological activity, which gives birth to symbols, and poetry, which is the artistic representation of human mental state and activities, even connects itself to symbols in its source.

So if this connection is not strong, it can be called weak and superficial poetry.
Call it the relationship between poetry and psychology, both intertwined in a way that is inseparable from each other, both are contemporaries of each other and complementary to each other.
